I put up a new reel that includes a lot of my latest work, so check it out! :D Been working on more car dealership and mattress commercials for the past year. I think our work has gotten better though. :) Also I got married last month! Hooray! Life is pretty good.
Hello again! It's been a while. So what have I been up to?
Long story short, been busy working, and last year got a job animating in advertising. Some of my work is below! Squeaky Business was a Platinum Reel Award Winner at the 2012 Nevada International Film Festival in the Animated Film Competition!
Squeaky Business won its second award at the Melbourne Independent Filmmakers Fest in Florida for Best Animation! I was able to be there to accept the award on behalf of my director and the rest of the team, and it was a great time!
Added some of my modeling work under the "Other Work" tab, and updated my artwork portfolio with a few newer drawings.
Just heard that the student film I worked on, Squeaky Business, recently won an award for Best Animated Short Film at the New Hope Film Festival in Pennsylvania. Woo!
So, I realize I haven't been updating my blog. In the past several months since graduating, I've been working on a few small projects here and there. More often than not, however, I never end up with a "finished product" that I feel is worth posting about. I've been pretty happy with my most recent personal project though. Over the past week I've been working on an original character of mine, an anthro jackal girl.  She's not done yet. The skinning needs to be tweaked and more details need to be added, but it's getting there. There's been a few things I would do differently if I started over, but that's what practice is for, eh? I've certainly come a lot farther in my modeling abilities than my last character model.
Just a quick update. Added the Artwork tab to my site to display my drawings, and my animation demo reel has been added as well. Take a look if you like!
